I don't agree that you can't learn the info anywhere else, but at $425 (I think that's the going rate) you will get a whole lot of dive experience and insight at a fraction of the price it would otherwise cost. The history of the County program is rich, which is an education in itself. There are some really top-notch people associated with LA's UIA, and they could be compensated much better for their work elsewhere. Check it out.
