its a short list of things that ecologically control the population growth in California. maybe if the State Government were to make the roads speed free, encourage unprotected sex, promote greasy foods, alcohol consumption, and smoking, maybe the population in California would stop growing as much.
internationally, the most successful way to control the birth rate is to educate and empower women in the workforce, so that they become prosperous and stop having babies because that gets in the way of a career.
that all sounds crazy, but those are the only buffers to population growth that currently exist. in other words, the population growth is uncontrolled and apparently always will be for the foreseeable future.
wait til the Mainland Chinese start buying up California real estate and then start moving here. you thought things were bad now ... .
