We're trying to decide where to stay this trip to Catalina (in Sept.). Although we usually "splurge" and stay at Hamilton Cove, the prices have increased and we want to stay longer and spend less. Got recommendations? Or perhaps places to definitely avoid? What about The Hermosa cottages? La Paloma? We like to have a kitchen (or at least kitchenette) so that we can make some meals ourselves. We're looking at being on island 5-6 days. Thanks!
