been there done that. not a great idea, since the narcosis is seriously debilitating. it doesnt matter how it feels or whether you get used to it a little. you are debilitated, you are at great depth, and that is dangerous.

GUE is on to something smart when they state: use EAN32 to dives of 100'; use trimix on dives deeper than 100'.

you can push EAN32 to 120, and you can push EAN25 to about 150, but GUE does not sanction that, and I agree with them on this. anything deeper than 100' requires a good reason (usually a wreck dive, obviously) and should be done on trimix, in my opinion too.

anybody doing a wreck dive should have a wreck diving class first regarding penetration protocols. even a smart lady like KelpHead.
