...but a money mentality that pervades all industries. It will be very hard to fight the profit motive. "The more the merrier" is a phrase coined by the church hierarchy and Political upper class to express how they got their wealth and power.
I am NOT "Mr.SCUBA" but I find myself as a sort of surrogate divemaster on many occaisions and hey, I want to enjoy MY dive too not just babysit! We (dive community) really need to get behind orgs like GUE, not to make them the only way but to help them influence the others towards some responsible practices. If it is "profitable" they will lean that way eventually. I can only suggest publicly embarrassing the ignorants or regular spankings to help the "Dizzy diver" phenomenon.
