Todd is the only one who knows about that. last I heard, he is supposed to spearhead the local PADI deep air specialty course to 165 fsw. he is a PADI OWSI and he is currently enrolled in GUE also. none of the rest of us can debate that with you here. only Todd.

i would be curious to know myself why PADI is jumping into the deep air stuff, particularly at the same time that TDI is de-emphasizing it as a prerequisite to trimix diving. maybe PADI is trying to catch up to NAUI in deep air. but I cant speak for NAUI either. Im just guessing here.
