Kelphead, if I ever get to meet you and your husband, I will tell you the story about the seal on the rock at Lovers Cove in Pacific Grove [a city south of Monterey & north of Carmel].

I was scuba diving there last winter with my girlfriend-at-the-time, depth about 25 fsw, heading of due north, and Spot came swimming up, climbed up on top of my girlfriends tank, and started humping her.

Spot is obviously a male.

I could not blame him. My girlfriend looked awfully good in her wetsuit [as well as out of it].

The funny thing is, when we got back to the beach, my girlfriend thought it was me that was doing that. I wish oh I wish I had had a Sea&Sea camera to prove to her that it was not.

These critters obviously do get very habituated to us humans, and they seem to take undue advantage sometimes.
