but still, nothing beats scientific training and lots and lots of travel. Well, speaking of travel, i have to resume packing for 24 days in Indonesia..fancy that, just a few kilometers from where the Muslims and Christians are slaughtering each other....guess i'd better plan on keepin' a low profile and withold social commentary until i get back to Singapore or Taipei! I'll stick to diving and looking at dipterocarp forest. Perhaps if i'm really lucky, i'll get to see some really cool nectar-eating parrots!
