it seems to me JohnB is addressing a larger issue, that of unbridled pillaging of the reefs. and the backlash of closure rules is not surprising.
and trees are living things too. there is nothing wrong with cutting them down to make homes with their lumber, as long as you plant new trees in their stead. but when you rape the land with clearcutting, and then move on to the next track, well, think about.
use your brain. its good exercise.
