A couple of reasons..
#1 - PADI argues that the Europeans think that we are too arrogant to acknowledge that the Europeans dive deep air all the time and that GUE's quest to preach Helium based mixes is a sign of American arrogance...
#2 - They site the costs of Helium...
#3 - they will be on teh trimix bandwagon on less than a year once they get the insurance worked out but they don't want to fall another year behind GUE, NAUI et. al in market share.. If you start out TDI, as you sadly seem to be doing, is it practical or likley that you'll switch in mid-stream????
