Here's a question that was put to me on the way back from Sipadan last week and I wanted to see if anyone had any valuable feedback.
An Aussie couple did 3 dives over 2 days (1 on day 1 and 2 on day 2), all dives to about 80 fsw, but within table NDL. They were going to take a bus to another town, but it would involve going through a mountain pass 8hrs after their last dive to a height of about 4500ft. I said the safe route was to wait until the next day, since it was over the 2000ft level. What are the risks going to 4500? I know that when I come home from diving locally there are some 3000-4000 passes I go through to get home. I've always wondered for myself.
