Gates was a lot richer before the bankruptcy court ruled against him. thats when Ellison took over first place again.
i have run into Ellison a time or two around the Bay Area. he is a really friendly person, which is unusual for a multibillionaire CEO, when he is not sailing his sailboat in a yacht race off Australia. he is a very low profile type of person, and if you dont recognize him, he wont tell you who he is.
he likes to play low stakes poker at some of the local Bay Area casinos. its just a game.
