As for Scubapro regs, they last forever and have a lifetime warranty. Annuals are just labor. If you keep gear as long as me, that is important.
We all like jacket BCDs with weight integration. I have dove with back inflation front inflation web straps of several different sizes and I liek the comfort of a jacket. It can take a bit of effort to get your weight distribution correct for trim, but really that is true for any system.
We all dive short hoses on our primaries and our octos are clipped to our BCDs instead of necklaces.
So you can see that we are not DIR compliant in my family. We are just a bunch of family members who love to play underwater. So donate to my kids' charity. Remember: Its for the children!
