For starters it has my name! Then the instructor for me is #21. I wonder how many they are up to now...

My hours are 40, not 50 as on yours. Date 8-10-75 and the number is 2114019D. I do not know what to make of the number. Hard to believe that they had 2,114,019 certifications in 75 and 2,506,056 in 84, so there must be more to the numbering system that meets the eye.

My comment was going to be that we do not know the minimum standard for hours since we know that my 40 was enough and you got 50 which obviously exceeds the minimum standards.

Oh yea my card is falling apart. Too many years of sitting on it in my wallet. Now I keep it safe since it is an antique. Along with my NASDS and NAUI cards (also falling apart). But my PADI cards are pristine. Made of tougher stuff -- just like we would expect.
