I have never done all of those things in combination.
I dive both with and without a bc, solo and with buddies, all depending on what my goals are for a given dive.
For bug and halibut hunting diving solo without a bc it to be my favorite method.
When doing deep dives, I use a, doubles on dive-rite back plate and wings, and a separate pony bottle back-up air supply.
In fact I have owned and used a dive-rite back plate and wings since 1993.
MHK as usual is distorting the facts.
This and outright lies are part of his is his standard technique to attack anyone who disagrees with him.
It is the same method used by religious zealots.
