Actually, funny you should mention that, we had the same discussion on Sunday. It's actually more difficult for some people to reach the valve if it's placed really high, because of the way the arm arcs. Hard to explain, but really easy to see on someone reaching back over their head. I actually think I had my valve placed a bit too high the first dive.
The real trick is trying to get at it without completely hosing trim. Gonna have to do a bit of stretching, because I'm one of the world's least flexible folk.
