Different strokes for different folks. What does and does not work for Ken and you does not necessarily have to be true for me.

Using and controlling two inflatable devices to maintain buoyancy at changing depths is, IMHO, task overload and therefore an added failure point.

YMMV, but I am able to bleed air out of my drysuit easier and faster than out of my Halcyon wing. And with my snugly fitting CF300 (not like the baggier trilam) there is not much room for air in my legs. My feet are too heavy as they are, without ankle weights or garters.

But the key reason is that, as I inflate the suit for no-squeeze and sufficient loft, it is giving me perfect buoyancy right then and there. Additional air in my BC would make me ascend.

So, why is it nonsense, the way it works for me?
