i respect all the agencies, LACoDeptParks&Rec, YMCA, NAUI, PADI, SSI, IANTD, etc. if i left yours out then i just havent heard of them.

PADI is the 500 lb gorilla that everyone else stands in the shadow of now. it was started by NAUI instructors, who themselves came from LACoDeptParks&Rec. Although I also have to believe that the SSI guys and IANTD guys had to come from somewhere else too.
