>MikeK is one of us, he is a PADI professional. he has been there and done that so none of us gets outraged in a professional sense when he
does it.

Mike Kane is(??)/was a PADI Divemaster.

I have to laugh. For what it takes to become
a PADI Divemaster its hard to believe you could
call it a professional anything.

How about a requirement for basic diving skills ?
How about a requirement for a minimal degree of experience in the water ?

Think what it might mean to someone who actually
dives to have someone come up to them and say
"I'm a PADI professional" and think it stands
for any sort of qualification of that diver's ability.

Mike Kane passed Tamara Kendel's Cave 1 & Cave 2
courses - from that I know he is a diver.
