I fully admit I am a novice SCUBA diver. I have never done technical diving. I have never been deeper than 150 fsw.
I do have rather extensive experience climbing. I made my post based on my experiences with climbers tape in that arena, and the limited application I used underwater. The tape didn't work for whoever this is. Therefore I was wrong. Now I'm going to go get some, and try and see why it didn't work.
Experience is such an interesting thing to quantify. Some people have 20 years experience, some people have 1 year of experience 20 times.
