I entered the DM program to improve my diving. I told the Course Director that I had no intention of working with classes. I found that I enjoyed it so much that I just keep saying yes when instructors ask me to work with them. I guess they can spot a sucker even in low viz!
I honestly don't have plans to become an instructor. I've declined to join instructor classes when encouraged by the CD. My job is time-consuming enough, I need time to keep fun in my diving life.
