Frank,

I was very candid in my analysis of Mia Tegner's fatality and I firmly believe that her death illustrates EXACTLY why I run a argon bottle [ whether or not I fill it with air or argon].

If you run OOA you loose your inflation source[s] as well if you are running your inflation source off your back gas. In Mia's case, she surfaced and grabbed another tank and then descended. While she did in fact have additional air supply she lacked the wherewithal to use any inflation source and I believe, as a result, she got seperated from the bottle they handed down to her and was unable to ascend and died..

I try to think the problem through to it's logocal conclusion and I weight the added failure point -v- the risks.. In reality if your argon bottle fails, so what???? It does little harm and could have saved Mia's life...

Just my thinking..
