Thanks for bringing up these points. To me, it is obvious: if you are shrink wrapped so you can't move, you don't have enough gas in the suit.
Also obviously, since trapped gas is what provides thermal protection, the absence of trapped gas provides no protection. This reminds me of the basic idea Roakey wrote earlier about gators (they limit *excess* gas).
Finally obvious, "some Walker" could help limit the amount of trial and error required to get dialed in.
