In my opinion current OW + AOW should be called "Discover Scuba" cos that's what they are really. From perspective I can say now that after AOW I started to get a clue.
Also, kinda off topic: Natural selection for divers isn't really enough. I wintessed one guy finishing his AOW and still managing to go from 40' to 0' seven times during his final dive. And he was far from being scared or frustrated. Hell, he was enthusiastic about diving. Not good.
