Catalina fatality Thursday?

Just got word that a 57 year old, recently retired Los Angeles police detective died scuba diving at Catalina yesterday (Thursday) His name is Michael Osokow and he was accompanied by his son. That's all I know at this time. Should know more on Monday. Anyone else know more?
