The person that typically is in a discover scuba program (in my experience) usually is there at the urging someone else wanting them to dive. They for the most part have no interest in diving, and totally scared. Do you think that I want to be responsible for them? Sorry - not a chance! With few exceptions, those who have a sincere interest in the sport enroll in a certification course, not in a hand holding, give it to me all in 5 minute course.
