According to Rod Francis at West Coast Divers Suppy, the issue is totally about safety. Non O2 cleaned tanks COULD contain flammable material and cause a fire or explosion if pure O2 is pumped into it. As to ID stickers, what form of EANx identification would you prefer on our tanks? What's wrong with the "accepted" green and yellow ones?
