Mike, I'm afraid this is one issue that has the parade marching one way and you the other. Again, it's a safety issue, pure and simple. Even the granddaddy of Nitrox, Dick Rutkowski, would oppose "moonshine distilling" of Nitrox using pure O2 in a garage without blending certification. I thought good DIR was preventing accidents before they happen. I don't doubt you've filled thousands of tanks, but I'll bet you never blind filled a tank some stranger handed to you. That's what dive shops are faced with.
