That would be one reason why it makes sense to have EAN stickers on a tank: so no fill monkey would fill this tank with incompatible (i.e., hydrocarbon-polluted) air. Actually, you, the owner of such a tank, should know.

About the viton O-rings: during partial pressure blending, your tank valve's o-rings are subject to 100% O2. That's why, in spite of MHK's luck, it makes sense to have vitons there. Your reg will only be subject to a much more diluted O2 mix and therefore not be at such a risk.
