Because I lug a lot of wrecking tools with me I tend to be overweighted and would feel more secure and comfortable with a Pioneer 36 wing instead of my 27, especially on the surface. Lest the chorus of DIR-ers scream, "Take weight off your belt, stroke!", I must hasten to explain that often I have to send my tools up with my lift bag or SMB, consequently I'd be very underweighted at depth, especially with my dry suit. If your 36 is giving you too much bouyancy, let's swap. My 27 is only a few months old, has the rigid internal spine and conventional velcro buckles.
