MikeK, you would have made a great Navy SEAL or Hardhat. You have the right attitude, at least, you have a consistent attitude.

The hard part about getting into a Navy diving program is that there are all sorts of other swimming athletes trying to get in too, and so the Navy does have the luxury of being able to screen.

The very hardest part about making it is: are you willing and able to trade your life to attempt to save someone else's.

I will defer to Ken Kurtis and the other dive store owners about the applicability of the "fantasy dive school approach" to the modern consumerist diving industry and its equipment and computer sales dependency.
