I used to spend a lot of time around kelp paddies. You would be amazed at what hangs around a kelp paddie. Molas, Makos, Blues, Yellowtail, Dorado, Tuna, and all kinds of bait fish. I think the most amazing thing I have seem under a kelp paddie was about two thousand baby yellowtail, none over about three inches long. I went back to the boat and got a camera and I'm the one that hates cameras. I just couldn't resist. They were just to cute, to curious, and way to "in my face", sometimes actually running into my mask.
