Most important consideration in a mask is fit. To check fit, put the mask on your face, and inhale through your nose. The mask should seal air-tight around your face as you in hale, and should stay on your face and not fall off without support from your hands. Note that if you have a moustache, the mask may not stay on when you inhale because it will not seal very well.

When you find one that you like, you can ask to try it in the shop's pool. That way you can see how well it seals underwater. Try adjusting the strap underwater.
