In November of 1996 adjacent to Sutil Isle in what
we now call, The Nook. My dive buddy at the time
didn't believe it was a GW until we got back on
the deck of the boat and he checked his fish ID
book.

He did not do dives 2 and 3 that day. I cannot
understand why since it was only an 8-9 footer
;-). I haven't dove with him since...

Quite honestly, if you ever get the chance to see
a GW shark in the wild during a dive, consider
yourself lucky and relish the moment.
