First, I LOVE my Pioneer wing and backplate. It's a quality piece of work, diver efficient and friendly, and I'll never go back to a conventional jacket style BC. However...the web harness that comes with it sucks bigtime; an inferior 10 foot piece of goods that's already unraveling and frayed where it's threaded through the backplate slots. So I stripped the bloody thing off and replaced it with two separate lengths of quality weight belt webbing: one in green for my left shoulder strap, one in yellow for my right. So now I'm the Nitrox Kid, Doing It Right My Way. Even have the left strap adjusted so I can cinch the whole harness tight and can 86 the silly, useless, and expensive crotch strap. Are you listening Halcyon? Of course not. Different strokes for different strokes!
