You're loosing me lately.. The webbing is similiar to every other webbing made.. I'm not sure why you are having chaffing problems so soon, but in all candor I've been using the one on my rig for about a year and it isn't looking worse for the wear.. My webbing before this one was good for about 2 years and in all honesty what's $10.00 every couple of years???
As for the plastic clips that secure the BP cushion, as I've told you I use zip ties..
What's the big deal in the overall scheme of the BP and harness???
