If it's a defect send it back for a new one. If it's self inflicted, I repaired mine with a two stage patch. I first Aquasealed the hole closed, than put a heavy latex patch (cut from inner tibe) over the hole and then put a cordura patch of larger diameter over that. That was ten months ago and it's going strong.
