My husband and I went to Roatan last winter. Since I dive and he doesn't, he entertained himself with the resort's dolphin program. He had a great time - he spent the week attending lectures about dolphin anatomy and behavior, got to work with the dolphin trainers, and even got to hitch a ride on a dorsal fin. And at the end of it, he got a PADI "dolphin experience" C-card. Just out of curiousity, when we were walking around the West End, I took him over to one of the many dive operations, had him show the card and ask to rent a tank. Sure enough, the guy behind the counter looked at the card, dutifully wrote down the certification number on the back, and proceeded to rent him a tank. Any my boy don't even know how to swim!
