For a general description of the weather cycle you might want to glance at
www.diver.net/seahunt/d_weather.htm
or you can just assume that the weather should be near its best Sept and Oct.
Water temp should be 65 or above, depending on depth.
Vis is what you get at any island. It should be minimum 25 feet, but could
be 100 feet, especially at Catalina or another southern island.
You could glance at the 3 day swell map to get a feel for it....
