GUE stands for the agency. Global Underwater Explorer's. The fundamentals class they offer is NOT a tec course. They do offer a wide range of technical diving classes, but my sense is that you would need to substantially gain more experience before you signed up for one of those..
My understanding is that the Fundamental class cost $200 but you could call Jim or John Walker at Scuba Toys to confirm 714-527-0430..
