amen, brother! that's exactly what i thought myself.
i really regretted it at the beginning. i still
have my wetsuit for either warm water diving (if
i ever get there!!) or for single beach dives...or
even for local boat diving when the sun is warm
warm warm and i can sunbake like a sealion atop
the boat's deck.
as for the 'yukon', my friend (who chartered the
'blue explorer' and who owns a little inflatable
boat and dives out of mission bay practically every
weekend) explained to me that ever since the 'yukon'
went down last year, all the charters seem to
visiting it exclusively while neglecting the
kelpbeds and the other wrecks. according to
him, the locals down there are so happy that
they can now dive those other sites w/o
the congestion; but the flip side is that
the 'yukon' is now heavily congested.
anyway, i really do like the 'ruby e' (and the
'tower structure'--i dove that once; there's
a lot of life at that site, too).
