Chris, I have been diving for 25 years and have seen many ways and equipment configurations. I have also tried most of them I the most diverse of environments.
I have dove solo, deep, on air, with none fuctioning configurations, at night, on scooters, ect,ect,ect. This line you are using is bull. I have choosen DIR because it is the only true diving system, with an outstanding track record, it makes sense to me and it work wonderfully.
I am one of the most proficient divers you could ever imagine diving with because of DIR combined with my years of experience. I couldn't
imagine diving any other way BUT, I am still, as always open to further suggestions.
