There are no pre-requisites for the class.
As for suggested readings, I will ask Dr. Powell if he has any suggestions.
Looking over the draft syllabus, I would suggest reviewing general concepts of diving physics & physiology, general physiology, as well as anything you may have regarding decompression physiology.
There will be some discussion about decompression modeling, but most of program will deal with physiology and actual experiments that then drive the development and modification of models.
