Never heard of heli-air. It must be old school. But I was wondering if someone could clear this up for me. I've heard helium is a byproduct of natural gas being refined but only in very small amounts and that the largest deposit is in Texas. Anyone know any of this for fact?
I've read of France doing scientific studies using hydrogen, helium and oxygen on very deep dives. If hydrogen is used for tri-mix alone or in conjunction with helium, what would be the problem with it? Some people think that it's crazy European thinking. If we can handle putting in pure oxygen in a tri-mix fill then why not add hydrogen? It's cheaper than helium. I'm not advocating using it. Just curious of the answers I get (hopefully intelligent ones) ;o)
