I know how about government requlated dive certifiacation
They could set up something like the FAA except for diving.
Then they could write a big book of regulations that everyone
would have to follow, they could even put required equipment and
configurations. Sort of like the minimum equipment list for aircraft
and the TERPS manual for instrument procedures.
And we could all be required to have dive reviews every two years, and they could even put
in minimum currency requirments, just like the FAA. And instead of AIM we could have DIR; oh
sorry I got side tracked, instead of FAA we could have GUE, sorry lost my train of thought
again and instead of pilots we could have puppets.

Geez, what a great idea, I think I'll congress about it...
