I respectfully disagree, surprise surprise, I feel equipment selection should be taught by DM, AI and instructors from the get go. One of the problems is some training agencies get into bed with some manufacturers and the student isn't exposed to the full gamet of equipment. Such is life in this dog eat dog world. There is some conflict of interest it seems with almost every agency, if I'm wrong please point it out.
