Unfortunately almost all the mask have plastic buckles these day but some are overly gimmicky, like the cam style that racket down or the one that have some strange sort of formed plastic in the back of the divers head with two straps.
There is some crazy crap out there these day. And if you ask me its impractical stuff for divers and purely sales motivated
