I dive there often. I have seen vis up to 25'+ many times a year. Last August was so incredible many people still remember it today. Average vis is 10-15 and improves the further out you go. It can be worse. There is a lot kelp inshore and on the offshore reefs like Saunders and Big Reef. Your snag lines will not work effectively in those conditions. Sorry to pop your float on this one.
