I went with a DUI TLS 350 tri-lam. I can either wear undergarments for going under the ice here in Michigan, or wear a t shirt and shorts on shallow warmer water dives.
Unless you can get a wetsuit that damn near prohibits migration of water in and out of your suit, you'll be better off with a drysuit. Some guys will say "hell no" to the drysuit question(especially some CA divers I met last time I was there). But suiting up for a 3rd dive dive in upper 60 degree water, a few of the CA locals called it a day. Even if the water is warm it still takes your body heat away, making your body work to heat it back up. One last thing, I used to be tired making that 3rd dive with a wetsuit. I don't get that way with my drysuit.
Hope this helps.
