Having sat in a few planes with one of those watches that measures barometric pressure, I've found that commercial 737 flights range in pressure from about 5000 to 8500 ft in the cabin at altitude. The two small commercial turboprop planes I've sat in were like 80 ft below sea level. That's right, air pressure was higher when they took off than on the runway. I've never looked at it in a Cessna, but I would assume it is closer to ambient at whatever height you happen to be at.
